New York Artist Guild to Teach Classes at Rivers Run

Rivers Run and the New York Artist Guild are collaborating on a new opportunity to take classes from professional arts, in the beautiful and inspirational surroundings of Rivers Run.  Coming this fall the following classes will be offered:

Drawing

Print making

Collage

Painting

Photography

The Teaching Artists include; Phil Bliss, Bruno Chalifour, Diane Elmslie, Alice Gold,

Dr. Howard Kroft, Christina Laurel, Jant Lipp, Wende Menzie, g.a. Sheller.

Silversneakers Fitness Program Coming To Rivers Run

Rivers Run is proud to announce an exciting program that will be offered this spring!  The long awaited start to our program is set to start in June. This arrival of tn of his program at Rivers Run is due to a collaboration with the West Side YMCA. Details of the program will be available soon. 

Rivers Run a location in "Sustainable Henrietta: A Self Guided Tour"

The Town of Henrietta recently was recognized by the International Audubon Society with their "Audubon International Green Community Award" from their Sustainable Communities Program. Henrietta is the first municipality in New York State to earn this award for their efforts with "Henrietta Pride".  A Self Guided Tour map is now available for those who would like to tour Henrietta's sustainable locations.  For an interactive map of the Sustainable Tour, please click here.

Rivers Run Wins Award for Outstanding Facility Design

Rivers Run received the honor of winning the Henrietta Chamber of Commerce Community Excellence Award in 2008 for Outstanding Facility Design and Construction.  Rivers Run was designed with sustainability, allowing the natural wetlands to be restored throughout the property. The Rivers Run community operates with the environment in mind with it's "green" programs throughout the community.

AAA Defensive Driving

AAA’s defensive driving course is a six hour course sponsored by AAA and approved by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.  Upon completion of this course, you may be eligible to reduce as many as four (4) points from your driving record.  You will also receive a 10% reduction on the collision and liability portion of your automobile and motorcycle insurance premiums.  Register for this class through AAA: at nyaaa.com.  Member price is $35.00, Non-member price is $41.00, Rivers Run price is $27.00.
